Gift Card Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to the purchase, issuance, and use of gift cards (“Gift Cards”) issued by Village Guitar (“we”, “us”, “our”). By purchasing or using a Gift Card, you agree to these Terms.
1. Gift Card Validity
1.1 All Gift Cards issued in NSW have a minimum three-year expiry period from the date of purchase, unless otherwise required by law.
1.2 The expiry date will be clearly stated on the Gift Card or purchase receipt.
1.3 Gift Cards cannot be used after the expiry date.
2. Non-Refundable & Non-Redeemable for Cash
2.1 Gift Cards cannot be refunded, including for change of mind, loss of interest, change in circumstances, relocation, or inability to use the service.
2.2 Gift Cards cannot be exchanged for cash, credit, or other forms of payment.
2.3 No change or cash will be given for any unused balance.
3. Use of Gift Cards
3.1 Gift Cards may be used to purchase eligible goods or services from Village Guitar at Oatley.
3.2 Gift Cards must be presented at the time of redemption.
3.3 Gift Cards may not be used for:

gift card purchases.
4. Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Gift Cards
4.1 Treat your Gift Card like cash.
4.2 Lost, stolen, or damaged Gift Cards will not be replaced, refunded, or redeemed unless required by law and satisfactory proof of purchase is provided.
5. Cancellation or Suspension
5.1 We may cancel or suspend a Gift Card if we reasonably believe it is being used fraudulently, unlawfully, or in breach of these Terms.
5.2 If we cancel a Gift Card due to our error, we will replace it at no cost to you.
6. Remaining Balance & Transactions
6.1 You are responsible for verifying the remaining balance on your Gift Card.
6.2 Any unused balance will remain active until the expiry date.
6.3 If the purchase amount exceeds the Gift Card balance, you must pay the difference using an accepted payment method.
7. Restrictions
7.1 Gift Cards cannot be reloaded or topped up.
7.2 Gift Cards are non-transferable unless allowed by law or expressly permitted by us.
7.3 Gift Cards cannot be used for any commercial or promotional purpose without our written consent.
8. Australian Consumer Law
8.1 These Terms do not limit any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
8.2 If the Australian Consumer Law provides consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded, they apply in addition to these Terms.
9. Privacy
9.1 We may collect personal information when issuing or redeeming Gift Cards.
9.2 All personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
10. Changes to Terms & Conditions
10.1 We may update these Terms at any time, but any changes will not affect Gift Cards already purchased unless required by law.
10.2 Updated Terms will be published on our website at village guitar.com.au.
